Inland Regional Youth Theatre was established in 2014. We take great pride in helping young actors realize their dreams of performing. See what some of our favorite alumni are up to now!
Audrey’s favorite role with IRYT was playing Miss Dorothy Brown in Thoroughly Modern Millie. What she enjoyed most about being part of IRYT was being able to do what she loved in a safe environment and making long-lasting friendships. Her advice to young actors is, “Put in the time and effort to memorize your lines, choreography, vocal parts, etc. on your own time, treat others the way you want to be treated and be a team player.” She also emphasizes coming to rehearsal prepared. “Make sure to have everything you need before leaving your house”, she advises.  “Arrive early, be vocally and/or physically warmed up, and be ready to go as soon as rehearsal starts!” Audrey is a Christian. She enjoyed being homeschooled and was part of IRYT for nearly 6 years.  After IRYT she was cast in shows at Junior University and The Grove Theatre. She is currently performing with Off Broadway Corona Theater. Her passion is theatre and plans on pursuing it as a career.  IRYT Shows: Annie Jr., Thoroughly Modern Millie, Beauty and the Beast Jr., The Little Mermaid Jr., and Seussical.

Georgia Kate loved being part of IRYT and playing crazy and diverse roles, and loved the people at IRYT! “These are the nicest and most hardworking actors and members that I’ve gotten the chance to meet, and I am lucky enough to call them my second family.” She would tell young actors not to be shy or hold back. “Go for it! Whether you are a lead or ensemble, or even just helping out, give it your very best because you never know who’s watching. Also have fun! These are going to be memories you’ll remember for the rest of your life. I know I do!”
