IRYT Wins at 14thAnnual National Youth Arts Awards
We are thrilled to announce that the National Youth Arts has recognized Inland Regional Youth Theatre with 2 wins and an additional 7 nominations for our productions of Peter Pan and Elf Jr. National Youth Arts Awards honors outstanding work by youth in the arts. This year more than 700 productions were considered for the awards, including shows from 240 different members spanning 17 states, Canada & the UK. We are very proud of all our students and send out congratulations to the following casts and cast members.
Inland Regional Youth Theatre was honored with wins for:
Outstanding Lead Performance in a Musical: Brianna Wyman as Peter Pan in Peter Pan
Outstanding Lead Performance (Junior Division):
Matthew Price as Buddy in Elf Jr.
Along with additional nominations for:
Outstanding Production: Peter Pan
Outstanding Lead Performance (Junior Division):
Alyssa Burton as Wendy Darling in Peter Pan
Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Musical:
Chris Colmer as Mr. Darling in Peter Pan
Spencer Sharp as Captain Hook in Peter Pan
Outstanding Supporting Performance (Junior Division):
Nathan Firetag as Michael Darling in Peter Pan
Parker Higgins as Michael Hobbs in Elf Jr.
Nikki Jahnke as Jovie in Elf Jr.
National Youth Arts Awards will be held
Monday, June 3, 2019 at the Rose Center Theater, 7:30 pm.
